UnsubCentral can integrate with Adobe Marketo. This Marketo integration streamlines communication between the two platforms, allowing for the seamless transfer of email suppression list data and synchronization of email preferences. Marketo is a powerful marketing automation platform that enables you to target your audience with the right message at the appropriate time. UnsubCentral provides a centralized platform for the management of email suppression lists, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maximizing the effectiveness of your email campaigns. Thanks to this integration, you can benefit from the comprehensive capabilities of both platforms.
What does this Marketo Integration give our customers?
- Global Suppression List Management: UnsubCentral provides a unified view of all the email addresses that have opted out or been suppressed, allowing you to manage your global suppression list from one central location.
- Ensure the Sales Team Honors Your Opt-Out Request: customer 1:1 requests are consolidated and managed with UnsubCentral’s email client suppression tool removing any nonmailable addresses before emails go out, preventing communication from reaching those who have opted out or joined “do not email” lists
- Secure Email Scrubbing: With UnsubCentral, you can scrub your email lists of nonmailable addresses and make sure that your emails are only being sent to valid and up-to-date email addresses. This helps prevent deliverability issues and protects your sender reputation.
- Automated Email Compliance: By automating the process of centralizing and synchronizing opt-out data, UnsubCentral helps ensure that your emails are compliant with data privacy regulations and standards. This helps you avoid potential legal liabilities and keep your email marketing efforts safe.
Why Sync with Marketo?
The integration of UnsubCentral and Marketo was driven by customer demand for a solution to align their email marketing efforts across multiple platforms. This integration offers the potential to increase engagement, manage cross-channel campaigns, reduce churn, and improve acquisition while providing a customer-centric experience on an enterprise level.
By connecting UnsubCentral and Marketo, you are standardizing your email data and eliminating data silos, ensuring that all your marketing and unsubscribe lists are consistent across platforms. This will improve your engagement with customers by providing them with a consistent, personalized experience across all channels.
As data privacy concerns continue to rise, it’s increasingly important to ensure that your email activity is compliant with privacy regulations. Centralizing your email lists and opt-out requests on a single platform will make it easier to manage these lists and ensure that your outbound marketing emails are compliant. This will help you reduce churn and improve acquisition by providing a customer-centric experience that takes into account customer preferences.
Moreover, with real-time opt-out and data request requirements becoming more widespread, having the information for these requests and your email lists on the same platform will simplify the process of compliance. The integration allows you to sync opt-out information across your tech stack and monitor affiliates, vendors, and third parties who have access to your email lists, ensuring that they also maintain compliance with data privacy regulations. UnsubCentral’s email marketing compliance tools will provide additional support in this effort, making it easier to manage cross-channel campaigns and increase engagement.”
How to connect your Marketo and UnsubCentral accounts?
Setting up an integration between Marketo and UnsubCentral involves several detailed steps but they are straightforward and easy to complete. First you need to provision an API Access Only user within Marketo, to do so, you must go to the Admin option on the Marketo website then navigate to Users & Roles on the Security options. Here you will click onto the Roles tab to create a New Role. Afterwards, Select Access API > Read-Write Person as the minimum required. Then, click on Invite New User and complete the form. We recommend using UnsubCentral in the email field domain portion as this doesn’t have to be a real email address, then you click next to move onto Step 2: Permissions and select the newly created Role.
Now you can move on to setting up the LaunchPoint integration within Marketo. First go back to the main page of the Marketo user interface, then click the Admin option on the right hand navigation on the top of the page. Next, click the Integration section within the left navigation options and then click on LaunchPoint. Then, within the Installed Services section of the LaunchPoint page, click on the first option New, then New Service. Here you can set a Display Name, Description, the API Only User, and also set the Service section to Custom. This will make the newly created service appear. Click the View Details option to obtain the required parameters (ClientID and Client Secret) for your List Sync configuration within UnsubCentral. After this you will need to obtain your Marketo Munchkin ID within Marketo which you will find by once again navigating from Admin to the Integration section.
