So you’re ready to migrate to UnsubCentral from your current provider, now what? Well first, welcome! You’ve made a great decision to trust UnsubCentral with your email compliance management and we are eager to get you onboarded. Fortunately, we have helped many clients migrate to us from their old providers and are well-versed in how to make this process as seamless as possible.
1. Create Lists and Import Data
The first step is simply to get your data into the account! Depending on your list size, your Account Manager will help you decide if it makes more sense to do this via FTP or API or if you should upload directly from your browser.
2. Configure Automation
Next, it’s time to set up your FTP transfers with your ESP and configure syndication in your tracking platform if you will be using either of these. Our support staff is happy to help configure the FTP transfers, and we have thorough documentation on how to setup syndication.
3. Set up Alerts
You’re almost there! Now that you have your data successfully loaded into the account, it’s time to setup your alerts. These will allow you to be proactively notified of any potential compliance issue, from a list not being downloaded by an affiliate to a list not being updated by a FTP transfer.
4. Create Affiliate Keys
Congratulations! Now it’s time to create your access keys to provide to your affiliate. Be sure to only allow hashed downloads, and confirm with your affiliates that they know how to download and scrub the opt-out files correctly.
